Clinton Hill: A Brooklyn neighborhood on Steroids
Clinton Hill is a lesser known neighborhood in Brooklyn that happens to be tucked right between Bed-Stuy, Fort Greene, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard. It is significantly less expensive than posh Park Slope or Brooklyn Heights and the word is out. Over the past 5 years, home prices in Clinton Hill have risen by 18%.
Here's why this little gem of a neighborhood is one you need to know about--and consider investing in.
- Average price of a two bedroom is $990,0001
- The most famous house on the block with a rich history (Google it) is the 10,000 square foot Pfizer Mansion, built in 1887 by the pharmaceutical giant's co-founder
- Home to Pratt Institute and Pratt Institute’s Sculpture Park—the largest outdoor sculpture garden in NYC

Biggie Smalls’ childhood home in Clinton Hill is up for rent for $4k a month. Best known as the “one-room” shack in Biggie’s hit, Juicy, this three bedroom is what Biggie called home for 20 years.

Spike Lee’s 1986 film She’s Gotta Have It, as well as the Netflix reboot, were filmed in scenic Clinton Hill—if you thought those cobblestone streets looked familiar, this may be why.
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeiks call Clinton Hill home. They live in a historic red brick mansion which they bought for $6.5 million in 2014.

Adrian Grenier, Entourage heartthrob, owns two townhouses in the neighborhood (one for him and one for his mommy). He even furnished his ma’s place with a top of the line $10,000 high-tech Toto toilet. That’s a mama’s boy if we’ve ever seen one.

Wesley Snipes, actor, director, film producer, artist, and martial artist (yes, he has been training since age 12), lives in a brownstone on one of Clinton Hill’s most picturesque streets.

The Brooklyn Navy Yard: This industrial and retail park houses over 400 businesses and is home to Rooftop Reds (the first rooftop winery in NYC), Kings County Distillery (NYC’s oldest and largest whiskey distillery), and Brooklyn Grange (the world’s largest rooftop farm).
Brooklyn Grange: Home, home on the Grange.
Speedy Romeo: One of Grenier’s favorite local spots (where he was also an investor at one point) is a converted auto body shop where everything on the menu is cooked over wood flames, from the grilled chicken parm to their mouth watering pizza that has the perfect cheese-to-sauce ratio.
Your taste buds won’t be sorry you took them to Speedy Romeo.
Emily: The Clinton Hill location is the OG. The pizza is positively sinful. The burger is next level—it’s cheesy, it’s saucy, and it’s served up on a warm pretzel bun. We’ll just leave this here...
We present to you: THE Emily Burger. The saying “you eat with your eyes” has never resonated more.
